Recipe • Crispy Roasted Pork

Hands up those who loves roasted pork!
πŸ™‹πŸ™‹πŸ™‹ Definitely my husband and I !!
I'm sharing a No-Prick method here. Result? A guaranteed nice crackling! The recipe below is based on my 2nd attempt which yielded a better meat texture πŸ˜‹
Crispy Roasted Pork

Marinate: 1/2TBS Sugar 1/2TBS 5-Spice Powder
2TBS Huadiao Wine 2cubes Fermented Beancurd 1clove Garlic (finely chopped)
Method: •Clean and wipe dry the meat, especially the skin.
•Score the skin. Using a sharp knife, cut along diagonally from one end to another end. When done, cut along diagonally in another direction.
Try to make closer slits and do not cut into the flesh layer. •Prepare marinate in a bowl & mix well

Travel • Phuket June2016 (Part 1-Day 3)

We'd come to Day 3 of our stay at Novotel Karon, which was also our last day here.
We went on to another resort on Day 4 which I'll update another time 😊
U may read about Day 1 here and Day 2 here. 😊
By day 3, most of the activities were on repeat mode~ 😝😝 no complaints, we enjoyed the repetitions!
But first, there was a small surprise awaiting the boys at Kids World. On the day we arrived, the boys were each given an envelope with a letter.
Lil K completed his quest and on behalf of Mini K too. He submitted the forms at Kids World. They then receive their rewards! Woah! πŸ“£I'm not revealing the contents in their bags, in case you're reading and planning a stay here 😊
And while Mini K was napping away in the room after lunch, Lil K went for an exciting activity at the main pool! Zorb Ball!!! An experience to walk on water! Lol! πŸ˜„
Pardon the poor photo quality. Daddy was too engrossed recording video, he forgot to snap a few pics. These were screen shots of the vid…

Rise and Shine! It's Day 2 at Novotel Karon. We headed to the Horizon cafe where they serve buffet breakfast. Greeted by friendly servers & sumptuous spread!

Yes! U saw it right! That's a pancake machine. It dispenses 3 pancakes at a press of the button! Both the boys were intrigued by it and had pancakes for breakfast daily! πŸ˜… There're also melamine crockery specially for the children's use! No more worrying the kid might drop and break the bowl 😜 We brought the boys to the kids club after breakfast~ Kids World.
It's divided into 2 areas.

This section is for the younger kids. There is a small slide and ball pit, puzzles, building blocks, play kitchen and table toys.

And this zone's for the older kids, mainly TV games, arcade games & a small library. There's also movie-on-demand.
I was impressed with how neat and clean the kids club was! And the good range of toys/activities suitable for 6mo babies to teenagers, in fact even for the adults! πŸ˜„ After…
