Tutorial • Deco Egg Sheet

Image
Hi! I'm back with another blog post, a tutorial on how to make Deco Egg Sheet :) The egg sheets I make are more like a thin egg omelette, without adding corn starch, that's the way K-bros prefer. Adding corn starch results in a smoother egg sheet but also a more rubbery texture. I'm sharing the making of snowmen egg sheet here.  A visit to the strawberry farm for some PYO (Pick-your-own) fun during the  Australia winter season has gotta be 1 of the highlights of the holiday! We brought the kids to McMartins Strawberry Farm in Sunshine Coast. They loved the experience (as well as the juicy sweet berries) so much that we return for 2nd round after a day! The price for PYO was A$16 per kilogram when we visited. Do note that the farm is only open during the strawberry harvest season ie, May till October. Get a bowl from the staff and proceed to the patch! I suggest taking your time and walk to the farther end, as most visitors tend to pick the berries at the beginning, as they walked along hence the far end actually had more bigger and redder strawberries! There's no time limit, just take it slow and walk down the patch for more red berries. Budding flowers! Juicy Big Red Strawbies! K-bros got over excited & filled up the bowl in no time! After harvesting enough strawbe

It fits all my criteria: -Centrally located at Surfers Paradise My plan was either to stay at Broadbeach or Surfers Paradise. Finally decided on this particular apartment base on the rest of the criteria below. It is near the busy stretch of Surfer's yet it isn't noisy at all! Brownie point: 5 minutes walking distance to the meeting point for our whale watching cruise!
