Recipe • The Versatile "Italian" Meatballs

Image
Today, I am going to squeeze a few recipe ideas into one post, using 1 main ingredient... Italian Style Meatballs Or should I name it,  The Versatile Meatballs ?(≧▽≦) I love the texture of these homemade meatballs! Durum wheat semolina flour replace breadcrumbs, together with milk, it results in a softer meatball texture that's not dry. Lil K is very fussy when it comes to minced meat and yet he liked the meatball meals I had been serving him, that means this recipe is for keeps! And Mini K had been reminding me that he loved "Mummy's meatball pasta"! But don't worry, the recipe ideas at the end of this post are not going to be all pasta dishes in different sauces! Afterall, the K-bros are Japanese food loving boys, I must vary with Japanese food recipes! So, let's get started on the meatball recipe now! Recipe • Laksa Meatballs with Laksa Pasta (part 1)

Image
This Laksa Meatballs with Laksa Pasta was the first dish I cooked among the 3 dishes I shared using Dancing Chef™ pastes because I initially thought I may need to fine tune the recipe, cook using the revised recipe one more time before I share it out. However, it wasn't necessary at all. The taste came out right, thanks to this ready to cook paste from Dancing Chef™! Oh, the husband told me to cook this dish for him again after he sampled it and Lil K commented he likes the meatballs too! These meatballs are not spicy, but do have a mild taste of spices so children who are able to take mild spicy food will be able to take them. Furthermore, Dancing Chef™ pastes contain no MSG, preservatives or artificial colouring, making them a natural product. The meatballs are suitable for freezing, I kept half the portion in freezer-OK container and re-heat in the oven for Lil K's deco-lunch.
