Tutorial • Deco Egg Sheet

Image
Hi! I'm back with another blog post, a tutorial on how to make Deco Egg Sheet :) The egg sheets I make are more like a thin egg omelette, without adding corn starch, that's the way K-bros prefer. Adding corn starch results in a smoother egg sheet but also a more rubbery texture. I'm sharing the making of snowmen egg sheet here. Let's begin! ↖(^ω^)↗ Ingredients: 2 Eggs ½ tsp Sugar Carrot, slice & parboiled Crabstick, parboiled Black Sesame Seeds Sushi seaweed (optional) Tiny bit of Mayo Oil to grease pan Tools: Flat frying Pan & Spatula Choice of Bento/Lunch Box Cutting board Teaspoon Toothpick Cutters (depends on your design) Method: •Prepare 2 small bowls, A & B. Crack 1 egg into bowl A. Separate the egg white of the other egg into bowl B and add the yolk to bowl A. •Add sugar to bowl A, whisk to mix well. •Lightly grease frying pan, pour egg mixture from bowl A and fry over low heat. Flip the egg carefully to briefly fry th...

Travel • (Totoro) May's Garden House Restaurant, Bangkok (Dec 2018)

Image
We made a trip to May's Garden House Restaurant ,Bangkok in December. This restaurant is the first Totoro themed restaurant officially licensed by Studio Ghibli and opened sometime mid of last year. It was not really easy to locate in Sukhumvit area but easily a favourite for their Instagram-able surroundings and food! It does get crowded, especially during tea-time! Good thing, they have started online reservations recently so we need not waste our precious Bangkok time waiting in line for a table! Details at the end of the post. (♡˙︶˙♡) If you are a fan of My Neighbour Totoro (and the K-bros! Haha!), this photo is for you! ♡(∩o∩)♡ Even if you are not, the food can be a reason to visit too! The hubs ain't a fan of anime and theme cafes as the food served are usually mediocre but over here, the restaurant's setting is simple and somewhat elude Thai accents amidst subtle Totoro decos. Little details like this can be seen around the restaurant. That's a sw...
