So, we were on our 2nd part of holidaying at a good location;Patong but not so good hotel; Novotel Vintage Park . What's better than to go hunting for food since there's nothing much to do within the hotel. We went Central Festival Mall & had the kids' comfort food, Japanese food! These are the food we tried along Patong. How can a trip to Thailand be without this dessert,right? Mango with sweet Glutinous Rice ❤️ Thai style wanton mee! Bangkok's better! T Pad Thai with not very fresh prawns. The chicken rice shop opposite the hotel was especially good, their crispy pork belly & thai style braised pork leg were delicious! I miss these now!! 😭 And this beef noodles was good too, just a min walk from the chicken rice shop. We had access to the hotel's club lounge so we went for evening drinks & canapé before dinner. Finally, I decided to write about this overdue Part 2 of our Phuket trip! (hahaa!) You may read about our awesome first 3 days spent at Novotel Karon, if you haven't. Phuket Day 1 Phuket Day 2 Phuket Day 3 We check-out of Novotel Karon on the 4th day morning, presuming we could do an early check-in at Novotel Vintage Park . Alas! We were wrong! We took a 20mins cab to this hotel that's centrally located at Patong and perhaps due to its good location, it was really crowded! There were also groups of tourist booked under travel agencies. The hotel lobby looked rather old. Dissapointment # 1. The staff suggested we go to the kids club,swimming pool or just chill out at the club lounge since we arrived before 10am and no rooms were available. We decided to go to the kids club as the swim wear & stuffs were all in our luggage. Stepping into the kids club, I sank into Disappointment # 2. We'd come to Day 3 of our stay at Novotel Karon, which was also our last day here.  We went on to another resort on Day 4 which I'll update another time 😊 U may read about Day 1 here  and Day 2  here . 😊 By day 3, most of the activities were on repeat mode~ 😝😝 no complaints, we enjoyed the repetitions! But first, there was a small surprise awaiting the boys at Kids World. On the day we arrived, the boys were each given an envelope with a letter. ✨ Secret Agent's Secret Mission! ✨ Lil K completed his quest and on behalf of Mini K too. He submitted the forms at Kids World. They then receive their rewards! Woah! 📣I'm not revealing the contents in their bags, in case you're reading and planning a stay here 😊 And while Mini K was napping away in the room after lunch, Lil K went for an exciting activity at the main pool!
