Do follow me for more updated posts! Today's recipe of  Springroll Prawns is a real easy finger food and very suitable for packing into lunchboxes (it does loses some crunch though). Kbros love these alot & often request for this side dish...so I do make a batch more than this recipe calls and they keep well in the freezer. Lil K loves munching on seaweed snack and couldn't wait to devour the Tao Kae Noi's tempura seaweed in salted egg flavor that I received! But first, I made  Prawn  patties and Prawn balls  with a portion of this addictive snack, creating a new taste! And served up an Ebi Burger! (♡˙︶˙♡) Juicy prawns in every bite! Recipe • Hijiki Salad (ひじきの煮物)

This dish, Hijiki no Nimono (ひじきの煮物) is often referred to as hijiki salad, but it is not exactly a salad. Besides usually served chilled, it's more like a Japanese side dish that is served with teishoku (Japanese set meal). So what is hijiki? It's a brown sea vegetables, rich in dietary fibre and essential minerals such as calcium, iron, and magnesium.  (Source) My boys & I love this appetizer and I usually cook in a reasonable quantity with extras to keep in the freezer. Yep, freezer. It thaws really quickly, making it a great dish to add to lunchboxes! Quite a number of my friends "WoW" at the egg when I posted the photo then.
