Do you like Katsu Don ? A slice of thick pork cutlet, sweet onion slices and flavorful runny egg topped on a big bowl of rice... Comfort food for Lil K! This is his standard order at Japanese eateries and even at food courts! (○^ω^○) Today's recipe is tried and tested. Lil K liked it so much, he asked for this rice dish 2 days in a row! I'm sharing a very easy tutorial to achieve Duo Tone Cheese , which can then be cut into various shapes/designs using vegetable or cookie cutters. I use these cheese to beautify bentos or deco-meals like these... Travel • (Totoro) May's Garden House Restaurant, Bangkok (Dec 2018)

We made a trip to May's Garden House Restaurant ,Bangkok in December. This restaurant is the first Totoro themed restaurant officially licensed by Studio Ghibli and opened sometime mid of last year. It was not really easy to locate in Sukhumvit area but easily a favourite for their Instagram-able surroundings and food! It does get crowded, especially during tea-time! Good thing, they have started online reservations recently so we need not waste our precious Bangkok time waiting in line for a table! Details at the end of the post. (♡˙︶˙♡) If you are a fan of My Neighbour Totoro (and the K-bros! Haha!), this photo is for you! ♡(∩o∩)♡ Even if you are not, the food can be a reason to visit too! The hubs ain't a fan of anime and theme cafes as the food served are usually mediocre but over here, the restaurant's setting is simple and somewhat elude Thai accents amidst subtle Totoro decos. (♡˙︶˙♡) They are the perfect touch for Christmas desserts! Ingredients: Strawberries Marshmallows Chocolate Pens or melted chocolate in piping bags (various colours) Tools: Knife Scissors Toothpicks Method: •Melt chocolate pens in a cup of warm water. •Slice strawberry as shown and cut marshmallow in halves. •Draw facial features on 1 half of marshmallow and sandwich between the sliced strawberry.  •Secure with a toothpick & Voila!
