Recipe • Flying Noodles tutorial + Braised Ee Fu Noodles

I'm sharing a quick & easy recipe of Braised Ee Fu Noodles, it's one of Lil K's favourite & he calls it "T-shirt Noodles" πŸ˜… because Ee Fu sounds like "clothing" in Mandarin.
So... Ee Fu = T-shirt, geddit? πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

And of late, "flying noodles" seem to be very popular on social media! Since it's the month of Halloween πŸ‘»πŸ‘», I thought it would be fun to trick my kids! I'm sharing the tutorial to create "flying noodles" at the end of this post.

How to Create Flying Noodles?
Video Tutorial Credit with Thanks

I used half an apple instead as I didn't want to waste a potato. I could rinse the apple after the trick & eat it!

1) Prepare a pair of disposable chopsticks, a small fork & half an apple.

2) Sprinkle n rub some salt onto the apple, to prevent oxidisation. This step is optional.
3) Pierce the chopsticks into the apple.
4) Position the fork through the top of the chopsticks. Use a fork that's not too long/heavy, so that it won't topple.

5) Place the apple in the middle of the serving dish. Bury the apple with noodles. Put some noodles on the fork & arrange the noodles to cover the exposed chopsticks.

6) Voila! Surprise your kids today! πŸ˜†
