Recipe • The Versatile "Italian" Meatballs

Image
Today, I am going to squeeze a few recipe ideas into one post, using 1 main ingredient... Italian Style Meatballs Or should I name it,  The Versatile Meatballs ?(≧▽≦) I love the texture of these homemade meatballs! Durum wheat semolina flour replace breadcrumbs, together with milk, it results in a softer meatball texture that's not dry. Lil K is very fussy when it comes to minced meat and yet he liked the meatball meals I had been serving him, that means this recipe is for keeps! And Mini K had been reminding me that he loved "Mummy's meatball pasta"! But don't worry, the recipe ideas at the end of this post are not going to be all pasta dishes in different sauces! Afterall, the K-bros are Japanese food loving boys, I must vary with Japanese food recipes! So, let's get started on the meatball recipe now! Travel • (Totoro) May's Garden House Restaurant, Bangkok (Dec 2018)

Image
We made a trip to May's Garden House Restaurant ,Bangkok in December. This restaurant is the first Totoro themed restaurant officially licensed by Studio Ghibli and opened sometime mid of last year. It was not really easy to locate in Sukhumvit area but easily a favourite for their Instagram-able surroundings and food! It does get crowded, especially during tea-time! Good thing, they have started online reservations recently so we need not waste our precious Bangkok time waiting in line for a table! Details at the end of the post. (♡˙︶˙♡) If you are a fan of My Neighbour Totoro (and the K-bros! Haha!), this photo is for you! ♡(∩o∩)♡ Even if you are not, the food can be a reason to visit too! The hubs ain't a fan of anime and theme cafes as the food served are usually mediocre but over here, the restaurant's setting is simple and somewhat elude Thai accents amidst subtle Totoro decos. Little details like this can be seen around the restaurant. That's a sw...
